Last summer I created this paper bag album for a class I was to teach!
I ended up not being able to teach the class and have 8 kits all
ready to go. Enter your name in the comments section for this post and
on Monday the 27th I'll do a random drawing to pick winners of the kits.
Good Luck!
Cover- You'll have to get creative and find a solution for the 6 in 2006 unless you are as far behind in your scrapping as I am and are just now doing 2006 pictures!
The white paint pens used for the doodling isn't included in the kit..but, can be purchased at any Arts & Crafts store.
The metal looking star accents were made by covering chipboard with silver duct tape and then cutting out the hearts with a die cutting system. To give them the stained glass effect I added doodles to them using permanent markers. (markers not included)
The circles were made by dipping pieces of PVC pipe into acrylic paint and then using them as you would a "stamp". PVC pipe is included in the kit...paint is not.
These are the pull-out pages that slide into the open ends of the paper bags.

Wait, is this from the Michael's nonsense? :)
You know I'm more than willing to take one off your hands. If I'm lucky and feeling charitable maybe I'll give it to my sister and she can put some baby photos in it (her daughter was born in 2006.)
I was browsing your blog again and am still loving that vintage glitter you picked up at a roadside stand a while back. Have you used it yet? If so, post the photo!!
I just started subscribing to your blog's feed yesterday - I love your out-of-the-scrapbook-page ideas!
I also came across your blog after reading Lori McDonald's. I'd love to be added to your contest as well. Your PB album is sooo cute :)

Thanks for the great giveaways!
I'm sure I'll be around more, so you might hear from me again. :-)
I'm jealous! Not only of your creativity, but our Goodwill charges $1.00 for hardback books and $0.50 for paperback. Have to admit I'm just getting started with scrapping so keep up the good work with your helpful hints. Should I win, I'm sure this project would be very beneficial in getting me started.
Alice
I have to admit I was sent here too but I will definitely be back - love your scrapping ideas!

O.K. Lori sent us over so if you get overwhelmed with post', it's Lori's fault. LOL
I'm am not a lucky person when it comes to contest, (family, hubby, kids, dogs and grand daughters, is where all my luck is used up)
So, when I don't win, would you show us how to make the little book that you did.
I have never really gotten into the "Paper bag" albums, because, well, because they always looked like a paper bag.
Yours don't and I would love to know the secret if you are willing to share.
Thanks for this, and love, your blog.
(As long as I am not drinking anything at the time of reading.) You post' don't come with a "spew alert."
